Introduction


Welcome to Yatri Mitra, a service provided by Kaizen Infotech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. ("Kaizen Infotech," "we," "our," or "us"). Yatri Mitra connects cab and rickshaw drivers ("Drivers") with passengers who want to book a ride. By subscribing to and using the Yatri Mitra service, Drivers and Passengers agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Policies. Please read them carefully.


1. Description of Services

Yatri Mitra is a platform that facilitates the connection between Drivers and passengers. Drivers pay a nominal daily or weekly charge to access the platform and receive ride bookings. Passengers use the platform to book rides and make payments directly to the Drivers.


2. Subscription Charges for Drivers

- Daily Charge: Drivers are billed a nominal fee daily for using the service.

- Weekly Charge: Drivers can choose to subscribe to a weekly plan for a reduced rate.

- Payment: All payments must be made in advance using the available payment methods in the app.

- Non-refundable: : All payments made are non-refundable and non-cancellable once the transaction is complete.


3. No Refunds or Cancellations

- Once a Driver subscribes to the Yatri Mitra service, cancellations and refunds are not permitted

- This policy ensures the smooth operation of the platform and the continuous provision of services to both Drivers and passengers.


4. Service Confirmation

Upon successful subscription, Drivers will receive a confirmation via **SMS Notification.** An SMS confirmation will be sent to the registered mobile number.


5. Use of Services

Drivers:

- Account Responsibility: Drivers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information and for all activities that occur under their account.

- Compliance: Drivers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations while using the Yatri Mitra service.

- Conduct: Drivers are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner and provide high-quality service to passengers.

Passengers:

- Payment: Passengers are required to make payments directly to the Drivers. Yatri Mitra does not collect any money from passengers.

- Fare Calculation: Charges will be deducted by the Driver as per the meter (in case of rickshaws and non-AC taxis) or as per the charges shown on the app while booking in case of AC taxis.

- Additional Charges: : Any toll, parking, or entry charges will have to be borne by the passenger in addition to the fare.

- Disputes: Yatri Mitra is not responsible for any payment-related disputes between the passenger and the Driver.


6. Privacy Policy

Data Collection:

- We collect personal information such as name, contact details, and payment information to provide our services.

Data Use:

- The collected data is used to facilitate the connection between Drivers and passengers, process payments, and communicate with users.

Data Protection:

- We implement appropriate security measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.


7. Customer Support

For any issues regarding your subscription or other queries, our customer care team is available to assist you. We guarantee a response time of two working days. You can reach our helpdesk service department at helpdesk@kaizeninfotech.com


8. Limitation of Liability

Kaizen Infotech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the Yatri Mitra service. Yatri Mitra solely provides a platform to connect passengers and Drivers and is not responsible for any disputes, damages, or issues arising between them.


9. Amendments to the Terms and Policies

Kaizen Infotech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to amend these Terms and Policies at any time. Users are encouraged to review these terms periodically for any updates or changes.
