Yatri Mitra (hereinafter referred to as “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to safeguarding the privacy of its users. a. Personal Identification Information:

- Name, contact details, email address, personal photograph face profile, and other identifiers.

- Driving License, Chasis No., Insurance details, permit, Vehicle Documents, Aadhar number for identity/ vehicle verification if required, in compliance with applicable laws.


b. Location Information:

We use Google Maps APIs to provide location-based features such as route optimization, live map tracking, pickup/drop-off location input, and directions. Your location data is processed through Google Maps APIs in compliance with the Google Maps Platform Terms of Service (https://cloud.google.com/maps-platform/) and the Google Privacy Policy (Privacy Policy – Privacy & Terms – Google).


c. Financial Information:

Our third party payment gateways will collect Payment details, including debit/credit card information or UPI details, to process transactions for the driver subscriptions. These details are not stored by us and limited details are shared with us so as ensure that payment is received before providing services by use. For payment processing, we utilize Instamojo APIs. When you make a payment through Instamojo, certain information (e.g., transaction details, partial card/bank info, UPI) may be collected and processed by Instamojo. d. Government and Regulatory Information:

We may require details such as vehicle registration numbers, driving licenses, chassis details, vehicle fitness details and other RTO (Regional Transport Office) data for compliance and verification under Motor Vehicles Act and rules regulation made thereunder as amended from time to time. The privacy policy may be modified from time to time and further details may be required from Drivers and Users to comply with legislations brought in force at a future date.


e. Automatically Collected Information:

We may collect device type, operating system, browser type, IP address, usage patterns, and app interaction data only for the purpose of making available the service through Yatri Mitra App.


f. Other Information:

We shall collect and store Feedback, complaints, and communications made through our platform.


3. Purpose of Data Collection

We collect and process data for the following purposes:

-To facilitate and enhance ride-booking and payment services.

-To verify identities using third-party services such as Aadhar authentication and RTO databases.

-To provide customer support and resolve disputes.

-To comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including requests from law enforcement.

-To improve our services through analytics and feedback.


4. Data Sharing

We may share your data under the following circumstances:

a. Third-Party Service Providers:

-With entities providing Aadhar authentication, payment gateways, and RTO verification services under strict confidentiality agreements.


b. Legal Obligations:

-With government authorities or law enforcement agencies when mandated by law for identity verification, fraud prevention, or investigation purposes.


c. Internal and Authorized Personnel:

-To employees or contractors who require access to perform their duties, subject to confidentiality obligations.

Your data is stored securely on third party servers using encryption, firewalls, and password-protected access systems. Data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy or as required by applicable laws. Upon account deactivation, non-essential data is deleted, while critical data may be retained for regulatory compliance.

-Data Portability: You can request a copy of your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
